Another symphony, come and gone. More memories and new friends.
It was work but it was rewarding and so very, very much fun. There is a special bond that forms when you play music with others.
The new venue, Cedar Lakes, worked out beautifully. The staff at Cedar Lakes made us feel welcome and comfortable. Perfect weather didn't hurt either.
As always, I want to thank Tish and Greg Westman for their hard work putting this event together. A big thanks to Jean "Candy" Bandy for all the calorie free chocolate delights she provided, she must stay up all night for a week to make so much. Another thanks to the open mic participants and the mini workshop leaders. Finally, a HUGE thanks to all who participated.
I'm already looking forward to next year's event.
