When I retired in 2016 I joined a local mountain dulcimer group which led me to attend Kentucky Music Week. There I saw my first bowed psaltery and promptly ordered one on eBay.  

Since I didn’t know anyone who played or taught lessons, I turned to YouTube where I found Rick Long and learned to play watching him.  This led to me having Rick make a baritone model for me.  It also was the beginning of playing with two bows.  At that point I was officially hooked.

I play by ear so I created a YouTube channel to keep my recordings so I wouldn’t forget them.  At first I kept it private but decided to make it public in hopes someone might like to learn by watching me like I learned by watching Rick.  It is officially my favorite hobby and way to relax!
